Foundations - Fall 2012 Schedule
Our mission as a church is to glorify God by making disciples of Jesus across the street and around the world. There are two main arms to the plan: 1) To grow in spiritual depth corporately through our new Foundations classes, and 2) To grow in spiritual depth by engaging in personal discipleship.
The “on-ramp” to maturing in faith and getting equipped to fulfill our mission is FOUNDATIONS, a series of classes designed to help you mature in your walk with Christ. There are eight core courses as well as other electives that will be provided throughout the year.
Each FOUNDATIONS class will offer you a chance to grow deeper in your knowledge and understanding of a key facet of Christian life. Each class may not apply to you at this stage of your journey, but you are encouraged to take every class that covers an area where you need equipping.
Remember, God isn’t calling us to simply make ourselves knowledgeable. We must put the understanding God provides us into practice by living out the truth of the Word and being diligent to pass on the faith to the next generation: by making disciples.
